When you insert picture files created or edited in other applications, the picture files may be inserted at different sizes. Pictures may come in very large, or slightly smaller than they were originally defined in another application.
CAUSE
Microsoft Publisher imports picture files at screen resolution . Picture files that were saved at a resolution equal to the current screen resolution should import at a 1:1 ratio. Images generated at a higher resolution than current screen resolution will appear larger when imported into Publisher. Some web images, generated at a lower resolution than current screen resolution , will appear slightly smaller than the original picture files.
WORKAROUND
You can use any of the following methods to workaround this problem:
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Publisher 2000. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Publisher 2002.
