SYMPTOMS

The web size displayed in Reports View is not the same web size found in Windows Explorer.

CAUSE

The Reports View in FrontPage does not list all directories within the web.

RESOLUTION

To get a more accurate web size, follow these steps:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Web Settings.
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. Click to select the "Show documents in hidden directories" check box.
  4. Click OK.
  5. On the View menu, point the Reports, and then click Site Summary.
Note: This method does not display contents found in the _derived folder. The contents of the _derived folder are only displayed in Windows Explorer.
