FP2000: Include Page Allows you to Specify Page Outside of Web in HTML View

SYMPTOMS

When you alter source code for the Include component in HTML view to include a page outside of a FrontPage web, you are not prompted with an error message similar to the following:
The FrontPage Include component only works on files in the current Web. Please select a page to include from the current Web.

CAUSE

The warning message for this behavior is built into the Include dialog box, and it is not displayed if the HTML code is manually manipulated.

STATUS

The Include component cannot be used to include files that are outside the current web. For more information about the Include Component, click Microsoft FrontPage Help on the Help menu, type Include page in the Answer Wizard, and then click Search to view the topic.
