SUMMARY

In order to use the Visual InterDev 6.0 Design-Time Controls, Scripting Object Model, and Data Environment, the Visual InterDev 6.0 Server Components must be installed on the Web server.

If your application is hosted at a Web Hosting Service, they will need to install the server components from either of the following locations:

Visual InterDev 6.0	Run Setup.exe from the VID_SS folder on CD #1
Visual Studio 6.0	Run Setup.exe from the VID_SS folder on CD #2

It is within the license agreement to redistribute these components. This includes allowing a Web Hosting Service to install the Visual InterDev 6.0 Server Components in order to allow development with legally licensed Visual InterDev 6.0 clients.

There is no redistributable setup for the Visual InterDev 6.0 Server Components. A valid Visual InterDev 6.0 CD Key is required to install these components.
