When you print your PowerPoint Presentation, you may receive the following error message:
PowerPoint cannot print to Printer Name. It is not a valid printer type.
If you do not have your printer set up, use the Add Printer wizard to install it. Click Start, point to Settings, and click Printers. Then double-click Add Printer, and follow the instructions. NOTE: Microsoft Office 2000 has built-in functionality that allows you to get more information about difficult-to-troubleshoot alerts or error messages. CAUSE
When you first set up a printer, the Microsoft Windows operating system automatically sets it as the default printer. If you already have a printer installed on your computer, this message usually indicates a damaged entry in the registry, or a corrupted printer driver. NOTE: Some printers have their own setup routines that bypass the Add Printer wizard. Follow the instructions in your documentation.
