OL2000: Monday Appointment Shows as Friday Appointment in Outlook Today

SYMPTOMS

When viewing your Outlook Today page on a Friday, you may see an appointment for the following Monday listed under today's appointments.

This problem occurs under the following circumstances:
  • Today is a Friday.
  • You have an all-day appointment set for Monday through Friday of the current week.
  • You have an appointment for the following Monday.
  • You have no other appointments for the current week.

RESOLUTION

This problem does not occur if you create any other single-day appointment in the current week, or if you break your all-week appointment up into individual all-day appointments for example, one all-day appointment for Monday, one for Tuesday, and so forth through Friday.

NOTE: If you customize Outlook Today to show fewer than 4 days in the calendar, this problem does not occur.
