Next, you may receive the following error message:

enabled. CAUSE The audio compression codecs on your computer may have
missing or inaccurate information in the registry, or they may not be listed
properly in the System.ini file. WORKAROUND Make sure that Office 2000 has installed and registered the
codecs properly. To do this, use any of the following methods. NOTE: If you are using Microsoft Windows 2000, you can only use the "Repair Office 2000" method below; Windows Media Tools is not listed in the Add/Remove list. Repair Office 2000
Install Windows Media ToolsIf the "Repair Office 2000" method above has not resolved the problem, install Windows Media Tools (formerly known as Netshow Tools). You should install Windows Media Tools (or NetShow Tools) on the computer that is performing the encoding (which may not be the same computer running NetShow services). Note, if you are running Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0, it must have Service Pack 3 or Service Pack 4 installed.
Modify the System.ini FileIf the issue is still unresolved, add the following lines to the [drivers32] section of the System.ini file:
