Windows 2000 Does Not Have Any Default Tasks in the Scheduled Tasks Folder

SYMPTOMS

After you install Windows 2000 Professional or Windows 2000 Server, you do not have any default tasks in the Scheduled Tasks folder.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.

Task Scheduler in Windows 2000 does not set up any default tasks like Windows 95/98 does. You can create a task, but you do not have an example of an existing task.
