symptoms may occur:
CAUSE This problem can occur when your ODBC Control Panel files
are damaged. RESOLUTION To resolve this problem, follow the steps in Method 1. If
this does not resolve the problem, try Method 2, and then, if necessary, Method
3. Note Use methods 1 and 2 only if your operating system is Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98 (original), or Microsoft Windows NT 4.0. Do NOT rename ODBC files on Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows XP, or Microsoft Windows 2003. Instead, use Method 3. Method 1: Install Microsoft Internet Explorer 5
Method 2: Rename the ODBC FilesIf you do not want to install Internet Explorer 5, or if Method 1 does not resolve the problem, follow these steps:
Method 3: Install the Latest Version of MDACIf Methods 1 and 2 fail to correct this problem, you may be able to correct this problem by downloading and installing the latest version of the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC).To download the latest MDAC version, visit the following Microsoft Web site: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/data/aa937730.aspx
