Inserting a Blank Line Before a Table

To insert a blank line before a table that is at the top of a page, place your cursor at the beginning of the first cell and press Enter.

To insert a line after a table that is at the bottom of a page, place your cursor at the end of the last cell, press CTRL+Enter.

Inserting a Blank Line Between two Adjacent Tables

The CTRL+Enter key combination can also be used to insert a blank line between two adjacent tables. With the cursor at the end of the last cell of the first table, press CTRL+Enter.
