SUMMARY

Ftpcmd.exe is a sample that demonstrates the proper use of the FtpCommand function.

Internet Explorer 5 and later supports a new function called FtpCommand, which allows you to send a command directly to the FTP server and receive the appropriate response. This avoids the previous limitations of the WinInet API, which supported only the most common FTP features.
