SUMMARY

You cannot automatically distribute a custom icon for use with your Access run-time application. This functionality is not included in the "Package and Deployment" Wizard that ships with Microsoft Office 2000 Developer.

However, Microsoft does have a white paper that contains sample code that you can use to distribute a custom icon with your application. To view this white paper, please visit the following Microsoft Web address:
Distributing Custom Icons with Your Microsoft Office 2000 Application (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa155784(office.10).aspx)

MORE INFORMATION

The Microsoft Office 2000 Developer "Package and Deployment" Wizard was derived from the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 "Package and Deployment" Wizard. In the Visual Basic environment, the icon is found in the header information of the compiled executable. Microsoft Office documents do not save icons in this manner.
