When you attempt to run the Internet Connection Wizard on a non-networked computer, you can receive the following error message:
You are restricted from running the Internet Connection Wizard. Contact your Network Administrator for more information.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if your installation of Microsoft Internet Explorer is modified using the Microsoft Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) to disable the Internet Connection Wizard functionality.

How to back up and restore the registry in Windows To remove the restrictions, use Registry Editor to delete the Connwiz Admin Lock entry in the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel
