In Microsoft Access 2000, when you run a long script or a script with repeating actions, Access eventually runs out of memory and returns the following error message:
There isn't enough memory available to perform this calculation.
CAUSE
Access does not free memory used for each script until the script has completed all of its actions. Scripts are now double in size because Access 2000 scripts are Unicode and Access 97 scripts are not.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).
