E-mail messages disappear from your Inbox in Outlook 2000

preview pane is open. CAUSE Two possible causes for this behavior are:
WORKAROUND Use one of the following methods to work around this
behavior. Cause 1To remove all filters, follow these steps:
Cause 2NOTE: The procedures in this article only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Corporate or Workgroup option. With this option, you can use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your installation type, click About Microsoft Outlook on the Help menu. If you have the Corporate or Workgroup installation, you see "Corporate or Workgroup".If you are viewing your Inbox on an Exchange Server mailbox by using Outlook in the Corporate or Worgroup (CW) configuration, make sure the delivery point is set to your mailbox and not a Personal Folders File anywhere you are running Outlook.
