Internet Explorer does not check a local computer's Temporary Internet Files cache folder for files that contain the Euro character. Instead, Internet Explorer retrieves another copy from the original Web site.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
