This article describes how to manage the Block Senders list in Outlook Express. NOTE: To use the Block Senders feature in Outlook Express, your e-mail server must be a Post Office Protocol 3 (POP3) server. If your server is a Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) server, such as Hotmail, or an Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) server, this feature is not applied. MORE INFORMATIONHow to Block Messages from a Sender or DomainYou can block messages from a particular sender or domain. The domain is the name that follows the @ symbol in an e-mail address.When you block a sender or domain, you do not receive any e-mail messages or news messages from that sender or domain in your Inbox folder or in the news messages that you read. When you receive messages from blocked senders, the e-mail messages are sent directly to your Deleted Items folder, and the newsgroup messages are not displayed.
