When you open an eBook that you purchased online in Microsoft Reader for
the Pocket PC, you may experience either of the following symptoms:
The following error occured. 0x80004005 (-2147467259) OKAY - fatal error occured.
CAUSE
This issue occurs because Microsoft Reader for the Pocket PC does not
support the latest security technology for eBooks. The latest security
innovations prevent eBook piracy, and require server-based activation.
At this time, only Microsoft Reader version 1.5 for desktop and laptop computers supports the latest security technology for eBooks. RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, obtain a software update for Microsoft Reader for
the Pocket PC when a software update becomes available from Microsoft.
