SYMPTOMS

When you try to shut down your computer, your computer may stop responding (hang), and it may display a blinking cursor on the upper-left side of a black screen.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you are using a NetGear EA101 Universal Serial Bus (USB) network adapter.
