"Internal error: 2755.1632" error message when you try to install Money

SYMPTOMS

When you try to install Microsoft Money, the Setup program may not complete successfully, and you may receive one of the following error messages:

Error Message 1: Internal error: 2755.1632, CD-ROM:\money.pkg

Error Message 2: Internal error: 2755.1631, CD-ROM:\money.pkg

Note in these error messages, CD-ROM is the drive letter of the CD or the DVD drive.

Note This symptom can also occur during the installation of other programs that use Microsoft Windows Installer.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if all the following conditions are true:

You install Money on a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0-based or a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer.
The Winnt folder is located in an NTFS file system partition.
A folder that is named Installer is located in the Winnt folder, and you do not have Full Access permissions to the Installer folder.

Note This problem may also occur if you have Read permissions to the Winnt folder. This condition prevents the Installer folder from being created by Setup
