Help Documentation Error for Dial-Up Networking Error: 650

After you click the Help button on the following error message, you encounter multiple documentation errors in the "Reinstall Dial-Up Networking" step:

This problem occurs because the "Reinstall Dial-Up Networking" step contains several documentation errors and incorrect instructions. For example, the "To remove Dial-Up Networking" and "To reinstall Dial-Up Networking" steps instruct you to "open Network properties in Control Panel" instead of using the Add/Remove Programs tool, and the "To remove other Dial-Up Networking files" instructions must be performed in Safe mode because of protected system files.

To work around this problem:

1. Do not click the Network properties link in the "To remove Dial-Up Networking" and "To reinstall Dial-Up Networking" steps. Instead, use the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel:
   1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
   2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
   3. Continue to follow the instructions that are provided in Help, but read step 2 before you follow the "To remove other Dial-Up Networking files" steps.
2. Start your computer in Safe mode before you follow the "To remove other Dial-Up Networking files" steps. To start your computer in Safe mode, restart your computer, press and hold down the CTRL key after your computer completes the Power-On Self Test (POST), and then choose Safe Mode from the Startup menu.
