SUMMARY

When SQL Server 2000 is installed on a Microsoft Windows 2000 Cluster, the following error message appears in the System log:
The value named NoRemapPipes in the server's Registry key LanmanServer\Parameters was invalid. The value was ignored, and processing continued.
You can disregard the error message.

MORE INFORMATION

The NoRemapPipes registry key is added for backward compatibility and does not effect operation in either Microsoft Windows 2000 or SQL Server 2000. You can safely ignore the error in the System log.
