SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade your computer to Windows Millennium Edition (Me), you may receive the following error message:
Vxd dynamic link call: vpsysmgr(01)+0000008 to (352b), service 4.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because of a file incompatibility between Windows Me and the Intel Create and Share Camera software or the Alaris Videogram Creator software.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, use any of the following methods:
  • Uninstall the Intel Create and Share Camera software or the Alaris Videogram Creator software. For information about how to uninstall the software, please refer to the documentation that is included with the software, or consult the software manufacturer.
  • Rename the Vpsysmgr.sys file. For information about how to rename a file, click Start, click Help, click the Index tab, type renaming, and then double-click the "Renaming Files" topic.
To resolve this issue, contact the software manufacturer to inquire about obtaining an updated version of the software that is compatible with Windows Me.
