On This PageSYMPTOMSYou may experience a problem when Exchange 2000 receives a
message over the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) and the message ends the
data frame with: CRLF.CRLF QUIT CRLF Exchange server responds to the pipelined QUIT command with “500 5.3.3 Unrecognized Command.” Exchange server
responds with a 250 in response to the CRLF.CRLF, and then responds with “500
5.3.3 Unrecognized Command” in response to the QUIT command. The same behavior occurs with other pipelined commands
