Office XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) provides the latest updates to Microsoft Office XP. SP3 contains significant security enhancements in addition to stability and performance improvements. This service pack applies to any level of Office XP. It contains all updates included in Office XP Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Office XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), and updates released after SP2.

Jet Compact Utility Available
The Jet compact utility, JETCOMP.exe, is a stand-alone utility that compacts databases created with Microsoft Jet database engine 3.x and 4.x. This utility may be run in conjunction with Microsoft Jet database engine 3.x and 4.x for recovering corrupted databases.

Access 2002 Update: March 23, 2004
After you install Microsoft Office XP Service Pack 3, descending indexes in Access 2002 that have been upsized to SQL Server may still be upsized as ascending indexes. This update makes sure that Access 2002 wizard files are updated correctly.
