This article describes how to locate and start the FrontPage Server Administrator program.

In Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0, use Windows Explorer and locate the directory where FrontPage was installed. The default directory is C:\Program Files\Microsoft FrontPage. In that directory you will see a shortcut to the FrontPage Server Administrator.

In Windows NT 3.51, a program icon is created in the Microsoft FrontPage group of Program Manager. Double-click the shortcut or program icon to start the program.

The FrontPage Server Administrator is used for installing, uninstalling, and maintaining the FrontPage Server Extensions. The name of the program on disk is Fpsrvwin.exe.

There is also a command-line version of the server administrator (fpsrvadm.exe) that is suitable for batch administration. It is installed in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft FrontPage\bin\ folder.
