SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to log in to a NetWare bindery server, you may receive the following error message:
The server name you specified is not valid or server is not available.

CAUSE

The behavior can occur if your user name contains a space.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, replace the space with an underscore (_).
