WD2000: Different Font Colors Print As Same Color

SYMPTOMS

When you print a document containing text formatted in different colors, the printed colors may appear not to match the colors as viewed on your display device, or certain different colors may print as the same color.

The colors that may print as the same color are
Violet and Pink.
Gray 80%, Gray 50%, Gray 40%, Gray 25%, Olive Green, Dark Green, Dark Teal, Black, Rose, Tan, Light Yellow, Light Green, Light Turquoise, Pale Blue, and Lavender.
Plum, Brown, Orange, Dark Red, and Red.
Sky Blue, Turquoise, Aqua, and Teal.
Bright Green, Green, and Sea Green.
Light Blue, Blue, Blue Gray, Indigo, and Dark Blue.
Yellow, Gold, Dark Yellow, Light Orange, and Lime.

CAUSE

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows NT 4.0.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain Service Pack 4 or later for Windows NT 4.0 or Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition or any later version of Windows NT. For additional information, please see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
