CAUSE

A text box cannot contain an object (character, paragraph mark, and so on) that has an anchor for an object attached to it. Nor can it contain other text boxes, callouts, or reference marks for comments, footnotes, and endnotes. This will cause any paste or drag operation containing such objects to fail.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, do not include an object that an anchor is attached to, text boxes, callouts, or reference marks for comments, footnotes, and endnotes in the selection.
