When you use the Save As command to change an ASP file to an HTML file, you receive the following message:
The file new_page_1.asp already exists. Do you want to replace the
existing file?

This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
| • | You enable the "Hide file extensions for known file types" option in Windows Explorer.

| • | You use the Save As command to save an ASP file as an HTML file in Microsoft FrontPage. |

To resolve this behavior, follow these steps:
| 1. | On the Windows Start menu, point to Programs, and click Windows Explorer. |
| 2. | On the View menu, click Options. |
| 3. | Click to clear the "Hide file extensions for known file types" check box. |
| 4. | Click Apply, and then click OK. |
