This article describes how to use the Import/Export Wizard
included with Internet Explorer 5.0 or later.
You can use the Import/Export Wizard that is included in
Internet Explorer 5.0 or later to import or export favorites and cookies. You
can use the Import/Export Wizard to perform any of the following tasks:
| • | Import existing Netscape Navigator bookmarks from a
Bookmark.htm file. |
| • | Import exported Internet Explorer Favorites from a
Bookmark.htm file. |
| • | Export existing Internet Explorer Favorites to a
Bookmark.htm file. |
| • | Import existing Netscape Navigator cookies from a
Cookies.txt file. |
| • | Import exported Internet Explorer cookies from a
Cookies.txt file. |
| • | Export existing Internet Explorer cookies to a Cookies.txt
file. |
To start the Import/Export Wizard, click
Import and Export on the
File menu in Internet Explorer, and then follow the instructions on
