ERROR MESSAGE

When you attempt to start an Office program, the following error message appears:
This application requires the Windows Installer to run.

THINGS TO TRY

To manually install the Windows Installer, follow these steps:
1.Insert Microsoft Office 2000 CD 1 or CD 2 in the CD-ROM drive.
2.Click Start, point to Programs and click Windows Explorer. Browse to the Msi folder on the CD.
3.Double-click Instmsi.exe for Microsoft Windows 95 or later, or Instmsiw.exe for Windows NT version 4.0.
