OLEXP: Error Message Using Some Rules in Outlook Express

SYMPTOMS

When you start Outlook Express or are receiving e-mail, you may receive one of the following error messages:
MSIMN caused an Invalid Page Fault in module unknown
MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in module MSOE.DLL at memory address
MSIMN caused an Invalid Page Fault in module kernel32.dll

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you are using one of the following rules that are applied before the message is downloaded from the server:
Condition: Where the message body contains specific words
Action: Do not download it from the Server
Condition: Where the message body contains specific words
Action: Delete it from Server
Condition: Where the message is secure
Action: Do not download it from the Server
Condition: Where the message is secure
Action: Delete it from Server
Condition: Where the message has an attachment
Action: Do not download it from the Server
Condition: Where the message has an attachment
Action: Delete it from Server

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue:
1.Disconnect from the Internet, and then start Outlook Express. If you are prompted to establish a Dial-Up Networking connection, click Cancel.
2.On the Tools menu, click Message Rules, and then click Mail.
3.Find the rule that is configured with either or both of the following actions, and then click to clear the check box next to it:
Do not Download it from the server
Delete it from Server
4.Click OK.

MORE INFORMATION

Msimn.exe is the main Outlook Express program file. When there is an error message that refers to this file, it will usually quit, and Outlook Express will not start.
