Macintosh System Requirements

The system requirements for the Macintosh computer are in the following list:
Mac OS 8.5 or later
A Network Interface Card (NIC) in the Macintosh
Appropriate cabling to connect the Macintosh to the ICS host

TCP/IP Protocol

To configure the TCP/IP protocol on the Macintosh client, follow these steps:
1.Click the Apple menu, point to Control Panels, and then click TCP/IP.
2.In the Connect Via box, click the correct connection type.
3.In the Configure box, click Using DHCP Server.
4.Close the TCP/IP dialog box.

ICS Connection Using Internet Explorer

To configure Internet Explorer to connect to the ICS host, follow these steps:
1.Open Internet Explorer.
2.On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
3.In the left window pane, click Proxies, click Disabled, and then click OK.
For troubleshooting issues with the ICS host, please contact Microsoft Windows 98 or Windows Me support for further assistance.
