SYMPTOMS

When you open a workbook that contains macros, you may not be warned that the workbook contains macros.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
The workbook contains macros written in the Microsoft Excel 4.0 (XLM) macro language.

-and-

The workbook has been saved in the Symbolic Link (SYLK) file format.

RESOLUTION
