If an Evans and Sutherland Lightning 1200 video adapter is put to sleep, the bus stops responding (hangs) when Windows 2000 attempts to wake the adapter. The adapter does not wake up.

CAUSE

The Evans and Sutherland Lightning 1200 video adapter has built-in power management features. When Windows 2000 shuts down the adapter, the clock on the adapter also gets shut down. This makes it impossible for Windows to read the sub-vendor ID.
