SYMPTOMS

When you start the Adaptec Easy CD Creator version 3.5b or earlier, you receive the following error message:
Your are attempting to run a version of Adaptec Easy CD Creator that is incompatible with this version of Windows. Before running this software, you should upgrade to Easy CD Creator 3.5c, or later.

CAUSE

The Adaptec Easy CD Creator versions 3.5b and earlier are incompatible with Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me).

To resolve this issue, upgrade to the Adaptec Easy CD Creator version to 4.02d.
