When you try to open a Microsoft FrontPage Web, no Web folders are visible in the Open File dialog box, and you may receive the following error message Additionally, when you try to create a new Web folder, the Web Folder Wizard finishes without any errors, but the Web folder is not created as expected.

Method 1: Use the Windows Registry

Warning If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.

1.	Click Start, click Run, type Regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
2.	Expand the following registry key: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/lnkfile
3.	Right-click lnkfile.
4.	Point to New, and then click String Value.
5.	Type IsShortcut and leave it as an empty string.

Method 2: Use the Tweak Utility

Note To use this method, you must first install the Tweak utility. Tweak UI is an unsupported utility that is available for Microsoft Windows 98 on the Windows 98 CD-ROM in the Drive:\tools\reskit\powertoy folder.

1.	Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2.	Click the Tweak UI icon.
3.	Click the Explorer tab.
4.	Under Shortcut overlay, click Arrow, and then click OK.Note If Arrow is already selected, select None to clear the selection of the shortcut arrow. Then, restart the computer and repeat this method to reselect the shortcut arrow.

After completing either method, restart your computer if you are using Windows 98 or Windows Millennium Edition (Me), or log off and then log back on for Windows NT or Windows 2000.
