This article describes how to establish a FAT32 file system partition on an Iomega Jaz SCSI removable cartridge drive.

To use the FAT32 file system on an Iomega Jaz drive, you must first partition the drive. To do so, follow these steps:
1.In Device Manager, click the Jaz drive, and then click Properties.
2.Click Settings, and then click the Int13 Unit check box to select it.
3.Quit Device Manager.
4.Restart Windows.
5.Once Windows is restarted, open an MS-DOS session and use the FDISK command to partition the drive.
After you create the partition and restart Windows, you can format the drive and use the FAT32 file system.
