SYMPTOMS

If you sort messages by the sent date (whether ascending or descending), the sort order is not sequential.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Internet Mail and News version 3.0a for Macintosh. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
