When you publish a Web created in Microsoft FrontPage 98 to a server that supports FrontPage 97 Server Extensions, the following message appears on pages that include navigation bars and page banners outside the shared border region when you open the page in a Web browser:

This problem occurs when you publish a Web that has navigation bars or page banners outside the shared border region of a page, to a server that supports FrontPage 97 Server Extensions, because the FrontPage (WebBot) component is stripped out of the HTML code and sent as arguments.

Method 1: Upgrade to the FrontPage 98 Server Extensions

Because navigation bars and page banners do not exhibit this problem when you post your content to a Web server on which you have installed the FrontPage 98 Server Extensions, upgrade the extensions.
