MORE INFORMATION

Some programs center dialog boxes and message boxes so that they appear exactly in the middle of the screen. For compatibility reasons, Windows 98 reports that the screen size is the size of only the primary monitor's screen. When a program determines where to display a dialog box or message box in this manner, the dialog box or message box is displayed on the primary monitor.

Some programs use predetermined coordinates to determine where to display dialog boxes and message boxes. Therefore, the dialog boxes and message boxes are always displayed on the primary monitor.
