FP98: Cannot Rename Node After Changing Case of File Name

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to rename a navigation node after changing the case of a file name, you may receive the following error message:
FrontPage cannot save the changes you made in the Navigation view.
Do you want to get the latest Navigation structure from the server?
If you click No, you are returned to Navigation view. The error will reappear when you attempt to change views.

CAUSE

This problem appears when the file name and the page title match and you change the case of the file name before you change the title.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, click Yes when you receive the error message and rename the node again.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
