"Hot Corner" Features Do Not Work in Windows 98| Article ID | : | 189689 | | Last Review | : | January 23, 2007 | | Revision | : | 1.3 |
This article was previously published under Q189689 SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to use the "hot corner" features to activate your screen
saver by moving your mouse pointer to a corner of your desktop in Windows
98, your screen saver does not start.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because the "hot corner" features in Plus! for
Windows 95 and Plus! 98 do not work correctly unless the System Agent
program is running. System Agent is not running because Windows 98 Setup
replaces System Agent with Task Scheduler.
