Fatal Exception When You Connect SideWinder Precision Pro

SYMPTOMS

When you connect a second Universal Serial Bus (USB) device to the USB port on your computer while the computer is running, you may receive an error message on a blue screen similar to the following:
A fatal exception 0E has occurred at 0028:FF027A60 in VXD HIDCLASS(01)+00000F40. The current application will be terminated.
If you connect a second USB device to the USB port while the computer is turned off, you may receive the following error message when you start the computer:
Fatal exception in Windows. You must restart your computer.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if your computer or motherboard does not properly support USB.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact your computer or motherboard manufacturer to inquire about the hardware configuration on your computer.
