SYMPTOMS

When you start the Windows Report tool from Windows Help, the Windows Report tool may be started as a minimized program (in other words, it appears as a button on the taskbar).

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because Windows Help calls the tool to start minimized.

RESOLUTION

Click the Winrep button on the taskbar to restore the program.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows 98.
