SYMPTOMS

When you start your computer, a program may start unexpectedly.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the Scheduled Tasks tool has been configured to start a program when you start your computer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, follow these steps:

1.Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Scheduled Tasks.
2.Double-click the appropriate program, and then click the "Enabled (scheduled task runs at specified time)" check box to clear it.
3.Click OK, and then restart your computer.
