When you attempt to modify a Dial-Up Networking connection's dialing
properties, the Dial Properties button may be unavailable.

This behavior can occur if the "Use area code and Dialing Properties"
check box is not selected in the Dial-Up Networking connection's
properties.

To resolve this behavior, follow these steps:
| 1. | Double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop, and then double-click
Dial-Up Networking.

| 2. | Right-click the connection you want to modify, and then click
Properties.
|
| 3. | Click the "Use area code and Dialing Properties" check box to select
it, and then click OK. |
