New Internet Explorer Window Opens Partially Off the Screen

SYMPTOMS
When you open a new window in Internet Explorer, the window may open at
the edge of the screen. When this occurs, only a small section of the new
window may be visible on the screen.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if registry values for Internet Explorer are
incorrect or damaged.
RESOLUTIONWARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may
require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve
problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own
risk. To resolve this issue, use Registry Editor to remove the following Internet Explorer registry values, and then restart your computer:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\window_placement
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop\oldWorkAreas\OldWorkAreaRects APPLIES TO
