SYMPTOMS

When you click the Index tab in Windows 98 Help, you may receive the following error message:
HH caused an invalid page fault in module ITSS.DLL at 015f:7d0d1cb3
or
Windows 98 Help does not open.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the Hh.dat file is damaged.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, delete the Hh.dat file from the Windows folder, and then quit Windows Help. To do so, follow these steps:

1.Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files Or Folders.
2.In the Named box, type hh.dat, and then click Find Now.
3.Right-click the Hh.dat file, click Delete, and then click Yes.
